Business Analyst
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong background in financial services. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of finance business processes and technology solutions. As a member of team at Amber May, the successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and help design & develop technical solutions as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze business requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct business process analysis to identify areas of improvement, inefficiencies, and potential cost savings.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and work with the development team to ensure that solutions meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals, process flowcharts, and technical specifications.
- Ensure that technology solutions meet business needs, requirements, and specifications.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and facilitate the resolution of any issues identified.
- Provide training and support to end-users and ensure that they can effectively use the new technology solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and tools.
- Support internal business development activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working within financial services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, regulations, and technology solutions.
- Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and development teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and other data tools
